This Kailash EBC Lhasa Motor Bike Tour is designed for those travelers who are adventurous and want to explore the natural paradise to Tibet on a bike. The tour also includes the once in a lifetime opportunity to explore Mt. Kailash and enjoy Everest Base Camp (EBC) experience. We organize this motorbike tour to Tibet from Kathmandu. Generally it takes 17 to 24 days, if you want to start and conclude the whole tour on a bike ride. So, this tour is specially designed to conclude the tour in 18 days. You will drive from Kathmandu after your arrival here in Kathmandu and finally return Kathmandu by Lhasa – Kathmandu Himalayan flight. You will cross the Nepal – Tibet border through Kodari road and follow the route to Kathmandu - Nyalam - Paikutso Lake - Saga - Paryang - Lake Manasarover - Tarboche - Lake Manasarovar - Paryang - Saga - Tingri - Rongbuk - EBC - Rongbuk - Shegar - Shigatse - Gyantse - Lhasa - Kathmandu. Guided sightseeing in Lhasa for the full two days and catch up your return flight to Kathmandu.
Day 01: Early morning ride to Kodari. Complete Immigration and customs and ride to Nyalam (3700m) 156km
Day 02: Acclimatization day in Nyalam, Visit Nyalam Monastery O/N at Guest House.
Day 03: Nyalam - Paikutso Lake – Saga (4400m) 280km O/N at Guest House.
Day 04: Saga to Paryang( 4500m) 240km o/N at Guest house.
Day 05: Paryang to Lake Manasarovar (4550m) 260km O/N at Guest House.
Day 06: Rest Day to visit Chiu Monastery, Hot Spring Bath OR ride to Gossul Gompa located at the other side of the lake.
Day 07: Ride to Tarboche and then later visit Darchen for lunch and ride back to Lake Mansarovar.O/N at Guest House
Day 08: Ride Mansarovar to Paryang O/N at guest House
Day 09: Ride Paryang to Saga O/N at Guest House.
Day 10: Ride to Tingri(4200m) 275km -Paiktso lake- La lungla Pass ( a pass of 5050m) O/N at Guest House
Day 11: Ride to Rongbuk. Visit Rongbuk Monastery ( 4980m) 90km
Day 12: Ride to Dza Rongphu and then excursion to Everest Base Camp. Later return to Rongbuk & then ride continue to Shegar O/N at Guest House.
Day 13: Ride to Shigatse (3900m) 24 (3900m) 244km
Day 14: Sightseeing Tashilumpu Monasteryin shigatse and ride to Gyantse. Sightseeing of Kumbum.O/N at Hotel
Day 15: Gyantse to Lhasa via lake Yamdrok Tso ( 3650m) 261km
Day 16: AM: Sightseeing of Potala Palace. PM: Sightseeing of Jokhang Monastery
Day 17: AM: Sightseeing of Drepung Monastery. PM: Sightseeing of Sera Monastery.O/N at Hotel.
